Where will your travel story take you next?

Whether you’re a casual holidaymaker or have explored every destination under the sun, there are still hundreds of fascinating experiences to enjoy over the coming years.

As we approach the halfway point of the year, we’re looking ahead to the breathtaking experiences yet to come in 2027 and beyond. With that in mind, we’re excited to offer several exciting new destinations for the very first time, from idyllic Umbria and the Isle of Elba to the ultra-modern highlights of Malaysia and Singapore.

Our other new tours delve deeper into customer favourites, including the Austrian Alps and Czechia, while wildlife enthusiasts can enjoy a more exclusive safari experience at Mabula’s villa-style Kingfisher Suites. Here are just a few of the brand-new experiences you can look forward to.

Watching the Waltz King live in Paris

There are few cities as renowned as Paris when it comes to cultural highlights, and with an escorted concert break in 2027, you can enhance your exploration of the French capital with an unmissable night of musical magic with André Rieu

Joined by his extraordinary Johann Strauss Orchestra, choir, soloists, and special guests, the ‘Waltz King’ promises some of the most rousing classical music performances in the world. With an included ticket, you can make the most of every moment in the city’s Accor Arena before heading out to explore the ‘City of Light’ the way you want to.

Our new recommended tour – André Rieu in Paris by Eurostar

Discovering Italy’s idyllic ‘Green Isle’

While Naples and Pompeii are perhaps better known than Ischia, the majestic ‘Green Isle’ is every bit as impressive as its mainland neighbours and is well worth a trip in its own right. Best known for its medieval wonders and coastal gardens, Ischia is easily accessed with a short ferry crossing and promises the perfect day trip to enhance any itinerary in Southern Italy.

Amongst the island’s many highlights, the vast Aragonese Castle is a must-see and offers the perfect introduction to the local legends, love stories and dramatic history that make Ischia what it is today. Better yet, after visiting the castle, you’ll also have easy access to the charming, cobbled villages, and coastal gardens that line the island’s shores.

Our new recommended tour – Positano, Ischia & the Amalfi Coast

Walking in the footsteps of Napoleon on the Isle of Elba

There aren’t many places across the Mediterranean that are as picturesque as idyllic Elba, and the island promises spectacular historical highlights too. Once the setting for Napoleon’s first exile, this often-overlooked Tyrrhenian island is well worth a spot on your 2027 travel wish-list. Comprising a handful of idyllic seaside towns and the elegant Baroque palaces that ‘the Little Corporal’ once called home, Elba offers natural highlights, leisurely exploration, and historical discoveries in equal measure.

Those who are interested in Elba’s history can visit the Villa di San Martino, Napoleon’s summer residence on the island, and take in the elegant Baroque design on a guided tour. The villa also has a number of acclaimed galleries and themed rooms which are perfect for an afternoon’s exploration. The Egyptian Room, with its papyrus plants and North African décor, and the Hall of the Loveknot, built to commemorate the marriage between Napoleon and his second wife, Marie Louise, are must-see highlights.

Our recommended tour – Tuscany, Umbria & the Isle of Elba – Premier

Scaling the tallest mountain of the Austrian Alps

With its quintessentially Austrian culture, Belle Epoque cities and spectacular mountain scenery, Austria’s Eastern Alps remain a popular choice. When it comes to sightseeing destinations though, there’s no competition. Standing nearly 4,000 meters above sea level, Großglockner, which is also the Austrian Alps tallest peak, offers some of the country’s most enchanting views.

The mountain’s High Alpine Road is one of Europe's great mountain drives, climbing to over 2,500 metres through some of the Eastern Alps' most spectacular scenery. Whether you're looking out over the Pasterze Glacier or watching the snow-capped peaks glisten in the afternoon light, this is the sort of destination that reminds you why you travel in the first place.

Our new recommended tour – Austria – Salzburg & the Eastern Alps

Marvelling at Germany’s most dramatic landscapes from above

Though it may not be as famous as the Black Forest or the Wadden Sea, Saxon Switzerland National Park, nestled on the Czech border, is worth its weight in gold when it comes to natural beauty. With its ranging forested hills, vast table mountains, and the winding River Elbe cutting a path through the landscapes, this delightful reserve is ideal for a nature-centred experience in the south of Germany.

Of the park’s many attractions, the peculiar Bastei, a collection of jagged sandstone pillars which have been shaped by erosion across millennia, stand out. Better yet, visitors can see the stones up close with a walk along the Bastei’s stone bridge before soaking up exquisite views. Whether you’re visiting Saxony for its colourful history or the inner-city highlights, this lesser-known spot may surprise you and become the trip’s overall highlight.

Our new recommended tour – Prague, Dresden & Colditz Castle

Sailing the Danube at sunset

With its rich thermal bath culture and timeless beauty, Budapest is a city which has captured the hearts of countless visitors over the centuries, and it’s easy to see why. From hilltop Buda, the city’s castle-strewn first ‘half’, to cosmopolitan Pest, with its bustling central markets and neon-lit attractions, the Hungarian capital offers a truly unique blend of history and modernity.

One of the best ways to explore Budapest is from the water, and though the Danube’s landmarks might be impressive in the daylight, at sunset they take on a completely different dimension. As the sun drops, the city’s grand riverside facades and popular landmarks, now bathed in golden light, are reflected in the water’s surface, making for a truly memorable sightseeing experience.

Our new recommended tour – The Spirit of Budapest & the Danube

Hearing Romania’s largest pipe organ live in concert

Transylvania, the legendary setting of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, is home to more than just its vampire folklore, and some of the most memorable experiences in Romania can be found amongst its charming rural towns. From fortified Bran Castle to elegant Sinaia, the ‘Pearl of the Carpathians’, there are plenty of fascinating discoveries to be made in this charming region.

Of the region’s highlights, few are as unique as Brașov’s Black Church, which houses the largest pipe organ in Romania. Though the Gothic architecture is worth a visit in its own right, hearing the remarkable acoustics ring with classical symphonies at one of the church’s organ concerts is a must for any Romanian itinerary.

Our new recommended tour – Timeless Romania – Bucharest & Transylvania

Savouring a truly exclusive safari experience in South Africa

Nestled in South Africa’s acclaimed Mabula Game Reserve are the Kingfisher Villa Suites, and of all the lodges in our wildlife and safari collection, this luxury lodge offers the most exclusive and intimate experience. Housing just 10 guests at any given time, this elegant villa-style property promises unrestricted views of the surrounding bushveld from the comfort of its first-class public areas. Those in search of a more refined and exclusive safari escape need look no further than the Kingfisher Villa Suites.

It’s not just the lodge that’s sure to amaze across this tour, either, and you’ll take part in no fewer than nine small-group safari game drives across this magnificent ‘Big Five’ reserve. You’ll also learn first-hand how to track the most elusive species with an expert ranger, discover a different side to the bushveld on a botanical safari and enjoy stargazing under the open African skies.

Exploring the world’s largest indoor garden

Crowning Singapore’s neon-lit skyline, The Gardens by the Bay is one of the city-state's most ambitious projects, spanning 250 acres across the Marina Bay waterfront. At its centre sit two extraordinary conservatories, the Flower Dome, with its vertical gardens, and the Cloud Forest, which features tropical plants from highland environments around the world.

Together they form the world's largest indoor garden, and the scale and ambition of the place genuinely has to be seen to be believed. The Cloud Forest, in particular, is unlike anything else in Singapore and combines scientific innovation with timeless natural beauty in a truly memorable way.

Our new recommended tour – Malaysia, Singapore & Desaru Beach Escape – Premier Collection

Soaking up the panorama along Canada’s Cabot Trail

Winding for 185 miles around the highlands of Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia, the Cabot Trail is widely considered one of the great scenic drives in North America. With unobstructed views of the Cape Breton Highlands and a number of quaint fishing villages that have lined the shores for centuries, the road promises the perfect introduction to Atlantic Canada.

The route’s striking landscapes are what most travellers come for, and they certainly don't disappoint. Cliffs drop sharply to the ocean, forests stretch inland towards the highlands, and on a clear day the sense of space is extraordinary. It's the kind of landscape that makes the miles feel worthwhile, and one that stays with you long after the drive is done.

Our new recommended tour – The Spirit of the Atlantic Coast and Eastern Canada
