On Boxing Day, venture to medieval Warwick Castle, and experience a spectacular light trail, seasonal treats, and an outdoor ice rink.

Following breakfast, the day starts with a visit to Bletchley Park, an English country house and estate, and the historic home of World War II codebreakers.

Upon arrival you will be offered some light refreshments before, you explore the historic huts and facilities where Alan Turing and his colleagues worked to decrypt enemy communications. Highlights include the famous Enigma machine, interactive exhibits, and recreated rooms, showcasing the stories of the groundbreaking secret work that took place. There will also be time to walk around the tranquil grounds.

In the evening, return to the hotel for a three-course dinner, and time to relax in the bar and lounge with your fellow travellers.

To welcome in Christmas Eve, you’ll have breakfast before heading out on a visit to nearby Cambridge. Home to the world-renowned University of Cambridge, this city boasts beautiful architecture, picturesque colleges, and scenic views along the River Cam.

A guided walking tour of Cambridge will provide an excellent opportunity to view some of the city’s landmarks. Among the highlights is the striking Gothic King’s College Chapel, renowned for its magnificent facades and imposing stained-glass windows.

Another must-see is the Bridge of Sighs, a 200-year-old covered bridge at St. John’s College. With its elegant design and historical significance, the bridge is a favourite photography spot. If there are still any Christmas markets open, you can also browse these at your leisure.

Later this evening, a three-course dinner, followed by tea and coffee will be enjoyed at the hotel.

It’s Christmas Day, and you’ll celebrate with a Champagne breakfast, featuring a full and continental breakfast buffet paired with bubbles to set the tone.

Relax at the hotel, perhaps taking a dip in the heated indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi before Champagne and canapés are followed by a traditional Christmas lunch. Later, gather to watch the King’s Christmas Speech, complemented by Christmas cake, teas, and coffee.

In the evening, enjoy a relaxed buffet dinner.

Enjoy a leisurely morning and breakfast then later in the day, set off to Warwick Castle, a medieval construction, originally developed from a wooden fort. Built by William the Conqueror, this landmark promises panoramic views and a grand interior to discover. Over the Christmas period, you can also see festive light displays as you wander the grounds and climb the towers and ramparts.

As night falls, you’ll experience the evening light trail, a spectacular illuminated journey through the castle grounds. With over a million twinkling lights and enchanting seasonal themes, the trail transforms the surroundings into an enchanting winter wonderland. You can also grab some festive snacks at the food and drink village or have a go on the outdoor ice rink set against Guy’s Tower.

The evening concludes with a three-course dinner, followed by tea and coffee to round off this magical Boxing Day experience.
