A flight eastward follows three days in the bushveld as the tour continues to the idyllic Western Cape and you’ll start your Garden Route exploration in winemaking Franschhoek.
After an introduction to South Africa’s world-famous wineries, you’ll spend two nights in coastal Arniston before continuing to lagoon-side Knysna. Here, you’ll tour two of the region’s wild nature reserves, Tsitsikamma and Featherbed, ahead of a stay in the Cango Valley. Savour a few final wildlife encounters with an optional meerkat burrow excursion and a visit to one of the Little Karoo region’s secluded ostrich farms, before travelling back to Cape Town, South Africa’s ‘Mother City’, for a relaxing five-night stay in the ‘Mother City’. You’ll get to explore the Cape Peninsula before some days of relaxation to some discovering on your own time.
