Experience Gerald Durrell’s 100th birthday events in Jersey

Having recently celebrated the centenary of the late great Gerald Durrell, Jersey is set to host a number of further events across Jersey in 2025 to honour the legacy of the acclaimed author-turned-conservationist. From unveiling commemorative plaques at his Jersey Zoo house to hosting an extravagant gala ball, the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust has a year’s worth of events planned to celebrate the legacy of their founder. Whether you’d rather see wildflower displays in bloom at Jersey Zoo or participate in one of the island’s other family-friendly activities, this is your sign to visit the UK’s idyllic southern outpost this year.
