The opportunity

Newmarket Holidays operate a number of highly successful special events, including The Championships - Wimbledon, Andre Rieu concerts, the Edinburgh Tattoo and magical day trips to Lapland. These events take meticulous planning before and during the operation and therefore, we are looking for someone with fantastic organisational skills, who will be able to keep a cool head during the operating period. The role involves dealing with multiple stakeholders, including suppliers and internal customers to ensure hotel rooms are organised, coaches are in place, tour managers are briefed, and customers have an exceptional experience. The role will be required to be on-site during key events, so long days and some travel will be required.

  • Effective communicator both verbally and in writing who establishes good, collaborative. working relationships with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail in numeracy and accuracy.
  • Highly organised, able to multitask whilst working to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
  • Problem-solver who questions processes in the desire to achieve efficiencies.
  • Be an active participant in events at a customer facing level and willing to travel on business-related trips in the UK and overseas.

  • A changing and multi-cultural team-spirited environment with opportunities to learn from new experiences and challenges
